✒️ In the Napoleonic Wars France and Sweden joined together to defeat the coalition nations. However, unlike in our timeline, Sweden would not betray Napoleon and would continue fighting alongside him. Defeat still ultimately arrives for the French in 1815 after the decisive Battle of Waterloo, leading to both France and Sweden surrendering to the coalition. In order to remove any potential threats from Sweden in the future and gain access to the country's natural resources, the United Kingdom officially annexes Sweden into the British union. From that day on the country is known as the United Kingdom of Great Britandinavia. Both London and Stockholm share the status of being the nation's joint capitals, and English and Swedish are the official languages here.
