✒️ The flag of Jubaland, a federal member state in southern Somalia, was officially adopted on February 28, 2013. It features a horizontal tricolor of green, blue, and white, with a blue triangle based on the hoist side containing a white star. The colors and design are intended to symbolize the region's aspirations and characteristics: green often represents the fertile land and agriculture, blue reflects the sky and the Indian Ocean coastline, and white typically stands for peace. The white star within the blue triangle is a common motif in Somali vexillology, representing unity and hope for the future. This flag superseded various interim designs used during different transitional periods of Jubaland's modern history.
