In this episode, Bart Simpson gets into trouble when he crank-calls a child in Australia to prove to his sister, Lisa, that the Coriolis effect affects the direction of draining water. As a result, Bart is indicted for fraud in Australia, and the entire Simpson family travels to the country so Bart can apologize¹.
