The Russian Liberation Flag is a heraldic banner derived from the traditional white–blue–red horizontal tricolor associated with the Russian state. Centered on the field is a large black double-headed eagle, a historic symbol of Russian sovereignty inherited from Byzantine imperial heraldry. The eagle bears a shield displaying a blue St. Andrew’s saltire, a motif strongly associated with Russian naval and Orthodox traditions. Behind the eagle are crossed golden weapons, reinforcing a martial theme. Above the emblem appears a scroll bearing the Russian phrase “С нами Бог” (“God with us”), a motto historically used by Imperial Russian military formations and later by anti-Bolshevik forces during the Russian Civil War (1917–1923). The initials displayed on the eagle’s chest represent a fictionalized or symbolic liberation movement tied to the concept of restoring Russia from revolutionary control.

Historically, designs of this type evoke the various White Army and anti-communist factions that fought against the Bolsheviks following the collapse of the Russian Empire. While not an official historical flag, the imagery combines well-known imperial motifs - the tricolor, the double-headed eagle, and the St. Andrew’s cross - to symbolize a “liberation” or restorationist Russia aligned with Orthodox faith, imperial heritage, and military resistance to revolutionary rule. In contemporary usage, similar stylized flags often appear in historical discussions, alternate-history art, or heraldic reinterpretations of Russian Civil War symbolism.
