✒️ The flag of the republic of Morvan. Initially adopted without the red star during the Morvanian war of Independence in 1885, the flag was designed both to evoke the US and Cuban flags. The two red bars representing the two islands that make up Morvan. In 1949 after the Morvanian revolution brought in a socialist government, the red star was added to represent the blood of the Morvanian people and their fight against tyranny.
