This is the Eureka flag with an eagle emblem replacing the center star. The symbolism for the base flag remains the same: the stars represent the southern cross and the lines connecting them represent Australian unity. I've put the eagle in the center. Eagles have been used throughout western history to symbolize either Freedom and/or Military prowess. In this case the eagle represents the Australian people and their willingness to take up arms to deafened the sacred flame of liberty. The Union jack is in there because 1. it looks good and 2. is to emphasize our connection to the motherland. The Eagle. I cut out the eagle from Huey Longs American Union flag using power point like 2 years ago, I then in paint.net I flattened out the colors to make it solid white and gave it a blue outline, I then played around with it to get some good designs, once I had the current design I saved it to my phone and did nothing with it for like a year and then two days ago I decided to do this. After uploading the Eagle emblem it gave me the pixel warning so I up sized it from about 1000x1000 to about 4000x4000 by Tracing it.
