✒️ The flag of Moldova consists of three vertical stripes of blue, yellow, and red, reflecting the country’s historical ties to Romania and the Pan-Romanian colors. Centered on the yellow stripe is the national coat of arms, which features an eagle holding an Orthodox Christian cross in its beak and a scepter and olive branch in its claws, symbolizing sovereignty and peace. The coat of arms also includes a shield with an aurochs head, representing strength and heritage. Adopted on April 27, 1990, the flag embodies Moldova’s national identity, cultural heritage, and independence.
