The green represents the evergreen forests and fields of the Pacific Northwest. The white represents the clouds and the snow on the cascade mountain range. The yellow rectangle represents the dry and arid deserts east of the cascade mountain range. And the Douglas fir tree symbolizes endurance, defiance, and resilience.
